According to this page your bike is in Lincoln Nebraska?
Maybe that mechanic dude from Memphis is on a test ride.

No, my wife took the tracker along in the truck. After she dropped the bike off in Tennessee, she dropped my truck off in Lincoln. My dad will be driving the truck out to Spokane for the finish.

Yes, all is well. Chili and I picked up the bike last night in Estill Springs, TN. Jess had run into a scary anomoly while test riding the bike just before I arrived- he thought maybe an apex seal had been blown. When I arrived, it was all being pieced back together. Within an hour, he had it running strong. He had put about 40 hours of hard labor into the bike in the short time it was with him, including a lot of parts swapping. He had run a huge amount of kerosene through the oil systems to clear out all kinds of sludge that was in places I didn't even know about.
After loading the bike up in the U-Haul, we regailed each other with stories of great adventure for a couple of hours. I left Estill Springs and got a hotel room a mile from BMW of Atlanta, where I met Bob Sr. in the morning just to say hi and check out the shop. After that, I hit Cycle Gear in Marrietta, then the Bass Pro Shop in Lawrenceville. BPS has a lot of great farkle bits, especially in their boating department by the way.
We left Lawrenceville and drove through two or three serious thunderstorms and a pair of big-rig accident scenes before arriving safely in Spartanburg at the Marriott Renaissance at 299 N Church Street.
The RE5 is now nestled safely in the underground garage along with a lot of really high-end rally machines. Tomorrow, I'll do the last of the fuel cell plumbing, add a couple electrical bits, then get prepared mentally. I've met several of my fellow ralliers. They're an odd lot, so I seem to fit in OK.
I'm off to find some ice cream now. I'll post some photos shortly.

Great news - but this worries me:
"I'll do the last of the fuel cell plumbing, add a couple electrical bits"
Last minute stuff just never seems to go well for me. Hopefully Warchild will lend an eye (or hand) to the plumbing - he has some knowledge of what could happen...
Ride well - but do try to have some fun - all of ST.N is pulling for you and all the others sporting the red and black Oval.

I've got pictures.
The more dangerous part though is when you get between Alex and his sweet tea!

I'm taking a break to go get some SWEET tea right now... I'm frantically getting things all finalized now, and I think it's all going pretty well. I'll write some more this afternoon. Just thought I'd check in and let y'all know that Chili and I are in good spirits, even if Warchild did just walk away from the RE5 shaking his head...
