I'm blastin' off next week for Seattle and plan to ride I-70/68/79 to pick up US-50 near Clarksburg, WV and take it west as far as St. Louis. Anything I shouldn't miss?

Thanks./ LT

Yes. Well away. I suggest no closer than 100 miles, as it is all urban sprawl.
