I like This Ducati

I know I have been hard on the Ducati brand on this message board but I must say that the new 1098 DUC is an impressive machine and the price is coming down to Reality too!
 
Kudos for Ducati for coming out with the 1098 at a very reasonable price.

Matches the "racing gold" frame and wheels.  It does seem to be an odd place for a stripe though.

Sweet looking bike!. After reading what you wrote about it being "track only" I noticed the turn signals and license plate mount. From what I read, the exhaust kit that is supplied with the bike is track legal only but the bike is street legal.

And the vertical gold stripe on the tank is supposedly a throwback to the days when the Duc race bikes had a window in the tank to check fuel levels.  Not
 real big on the stripe personally

Well, they should if they don't! I did read someplace that Ducati is going to release it in black.:headscratch:Its still my favorite.

Not with 102dB race cans, it's not.

That doesn't mean people won't ride it on the street anyway.
