Okay, thanks. Is this the recommened/standard pressure or what you've found suits the bike/load?

I THINK recommended is 36/40.  They quote it as 2.5 ATM front and 2.8 ATM rear as a solo rider.

Thanks for the heads up.  Found one this week here on the left coast otherwise would have likely bought that one.  It was on ebay last week and with shipping and not being able to see it first I was reluctant to pursue it.

Just saw this. I'll be test riding a Norge and a V7 Classic on Saturday...

So, what did you think?

Made it home safely with my new toy this Saturday.  Thumbsup Started to go over to the coast but traffic was terrible.  After being stuck on 101 for over an hour I gave up and headed up Hwy 33 thru Ojai.  What a great road, bunch of twisties gave me my first chance to see how the bike really handles.  Played with the rear rebound just a little and then it was great!!  Bigsmile  For the next 3 hours I was treated to curves, hairpins and straights.  Had to slab-it the rest of the way on I-5 but for those 3 hours I had a blast and can tell this bike is going to be a treat.  Taking a 3-day ride on it in a couple of weeks, can't wait!   Inlove

Scrape the centerstand or had the lower fairings crack from the heat, yet?   Lol

Glad you are loving the Norge, they do seem like the next great sport-tourer.  They've had a few glitches (the fairing cracks, there's a recall out on the headlight wiring) but the three people I've talked to who actually have them love the bejabbers out of their Nor-gays (I was told the bike does not rhyme with forge.  They their Norges oodles of cross-country miles.

Hope you have lots and lots of happy tours and don't forget to post pics.  The ups and downs I've had with my Breva have surprisingly not stopped me from looking at a Norge with lusty fingers reaching for my wallet.  Luckily, Ural Ballast Babe is also our Finance Minister or else we'd have a garage full of motorcycles and no retirement monies.   EEK!

Don't have much to compare I'm afraid.  Only other one I test rode was for 10 minutes at the local dealer that didn't seem well prepped.  It's not a smooth as I would like, but not bad enough to put me off.  My last v-twin was an ST3 Duck that was very smooth at freeway speeds. I'll be checking it over in the next few weeks and check for TB sync, I think it might be off just a hair.

Sagerat, how do I post pics?   Embarassment

When you post down at the bottom there's a section marked "Additional Options" on the lower left.

Click and you'll get a menu with a Browse button.  From that go to where you file your pics on your computer and selct the pic you want posted.  There's a size requirement, so you may have to resize your pics.

Hey, if I can do it, any one can.   Bigsmile

By the way, you can remove the lower fairing if you like.  I think it improves the looks of the bike.

I think I agree with you.  Took the pieces off this week and have been looking at it each night  Inlove.  Going back and forth but I think it's cleaner without them.  Thought about adding a Breva chin spoiler and front fender since the fender is all red on the Breva or Sport, can't remember at this moment.  Have seen varied opinions on whether or not it makes difference to perceived heat reflection or better cooling.  Crazy

If you'd like to lower the footpegs a bit, this is a trick setup:

Order them from here: (worst website EVAH)

Yup, that bottom section is too sharp/angular IMHO.

Those look very sanitary, mind if I ask the cost and how much ground clearance do you loose?

Yes, they do look great.  I came across them while thinking about getting a Norge - the highish pegs were the only ergonomic thing I didn't like.  I can't tell you about the cornering clearance, but from what I've read the centerstand is going to touch down first anyway.  Pretty sure I read about them on wildguzzi.com but I can't find the post....
