My sister was in Egypt a few days ago and just sent us some pics to hold us over until she gets back.

Since she comes from a motorcycling family she never lets us down and always gets motorcycle pics for us  Bigok

Check this out!  Lol

And just like with American squids, the helmet is on the bike, but not the rider.  Lol

In that part of the world you rarely see helmets, even on the police. Protective gear is pretty much nonexistent. And, yes, they are the "mini vans" of transport. All work and little, if any, pleasure riding. They can't believe we ride for fun and have over 1000cc's.

The little boy on the tank looks like he's having fun.

P.S.  Ron, thanks for the gentle reminder that I was being a stupid, insensitive American.

Do you really need protective gear when you are going to land on sand all day?  I don't think so. Rolleyes

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds

It's not sand like you had in your sandbox...  One of Saudi's biggest imports is sand, for making concrete.   And their sand is everywhere, including all over the roads.
