I was out with the wife heading away from Galena on Blackjack Rd on Saturday about noon when three bikes...a blue FJR and two sportbikes passed us heading in the opposite direction.

Anybody from this board?  mxvet? breadman?

We were on my silver FJR...

Nice sections of gravel on Blackjack eh? Sad

Gravel?   Sad  Bummer.  That road is challenging enough without gravel.

Did you guys leave Wheaton around 5:45 or so Sat. AM?  I was walking the dog (corner of Blanchard and Liberty) and saw a couple on a silver FJR...  Thought it might have been you.  We also saw the same bike later in the afternoon while out for a stroll with the kids.

Yes...that was us.  That corner is only about a block from our house.  We meandered the backroads on the way back and got back into town about 4:45pm or so.  My wife goes out only about once a year...so that was a rare sight.

You must take your dog for quite the walks in the am...I thought you lived on the other side of the tracks.

In any case, send me a pm if you wanna get together sometime and ride or BS about bikes ...whatever.

...SO I struck out with the STN board eh for the Blackjack sighting?  I was almost positive that it would be someone from here.

I'm guessing you struck out.  There's quite a few FJRs around...

I'm actually just down the road from that corner, on Kellogg.

Wasn't me or Ears, we were at MCC riding some Triumphs :Ds.

Edit to add: Wait, we were at MCC on Sunday. Still wasn't us, I was mowing the lawn Saturday. I swear the yard gets bigger each time I go to mow it.  Crazy
