Assuming tip top condition, low low miles and extra clean, how much would you pay?

I'd scan Cycle Trader, Craigslist, and the SV1000 forum to try to get a good idea of what they sell for.  I advertised my 06 SV with low miles, heli-bars, Yoshi cans and aftermarket screen for 5500 an didn't have much interest shown at all.  I traded it in and got 5500.  The dealer sold it immediately.  I assume for more than he paid me.  There are plenty of used ones out there, so if I were a buyer, I'd be patient.  If I were a seller, I'd price it a little below the competition.

SV1k value is crap. I keep seeing the same 'ol '03 SV1k's for $4k, and they never sell.

That said, if you like it, and you can get it for $4500 or less, get it. You'll love it!

Those copper/orange ones were gorgeous.  Especially with the lower fairing.   Drool

If you find one with the lower fairing, don't pay extra for it... Suzuki was giving them away to promote sales back in '03.

I really think that's because of the few smallish things that make the '03 unique.

I would pay $4500+ for a naked one with low miles that is a 10.  Bigsmile
