I don't like BMW riders because they all wear the same uniform; Modular Helmet (that they won't take off when stopping for less than 10 minutes), with the req'd reflective tape added to it, an orange vest, and of course a water/windproof 2 pc suite. At least I don't have to deal w/ them on nice sunny days, because they only ride when it's cold, rainy or foggy out.
We all have rider groups we dislike.
As it happens, that's the way I dress when I ride my Harley or any other bike I ride.....I....I guess I'm just confused.....

I do have a 2 piece waterproof suit, but I don't wear it all that much. I don't have a modular helmet, don't care for them. I have never worn a bright yellow or orange vest, I'm not on a construction crew.
I ride a 1997 BMW K1100LT and a 2007 Harley Road King and I'm a bikeaholic.

I saw these BMW riders on my way to Sturgis.
LMAO!! I actually put on my green/white/purple leathers and Green/purple Gobert replica helmet(Grim Reaper design) and gave out candy to the kids one Halloween. One little guy, I'd say about 5 or 6, looked up when I answered the door and in total amazement said "Look Mom, a GREEN Power Ranger! Wow!" The mom and I were laughing so hard we had tears in out eyes.

I am late to the party, but here is my story:
I like most folks here think that there is a "put on" arrogance on the part of HD riders.
This is true. Story is after the great depression, HD riders felt that not buying an American made machine dictated that you be ignored and hated.
Times have changed guys, or is your clan still living that dream/ drinkin the cool aid?
Now, we ride our choice. You ride yours and I ride mine.
But it is NOT nice to be arrogant, hate ricer bikes, Nazi bikes, etc etc.
Prolly Willie G Davidson has to proclaim that HD riders can indeed step down and be cordial again, as Asia is one of their markets.

Interesting enough, when I was in Thailand last summer, I came across a group of 4 H.D. Pirate posers, and they actually had the I am a tough guy thingy down better than most North American Pirates.
I guess it's still new there, and no one realizes these guys are their dentists.

I think Harleys must be inherently more dangerous than other motorcycles.

Why else would the Harley riders always display skulls on their t-shirts, jacket patches, bike stickers, chrome skully doodads and helmet stickers and etc etc etc ?
