I'll post a ride report a little later, but after a 3,500 mile ride to Plattsburgh, I flew home via 22 hours of hell courtesy of United Airlines.  Needing balm for the soul, yesterday I went out into the garage to start the rest of the fleet and go for a ride.

Slash Six:  Pretty much fired right up, even though it's for sale.

Ural:  Took a ton of coaxing, kickstarting to prime, but finally the electric starter got the sidecar up and running.

KLR:  Ah, no.  "I was supposed to go, but you took that Italian tramp, instead."  Dead battery; won't even hold a charge.  So ordered a new battery from Westco this morn to replace the ~three-year-old battery in the thumper.

There are days when I think two bikes is the perfect number.  I just can never figure out which two. Bigsmile

Anyone that can own more than one bike is pretty amazing to me...but same problem.  Which bike?

So why was the Breva left in N.Y.?  Was that the plan from the outset?  Have I missed something?  Do I have to wait for the trip report?   Headscratch

That was the original plan: ride it out, ship it back.  Otherwise, I would have had dinner with my sister, bro-in-law, Dad, and Ural Ballast Babe, then bade them farewell after breakfast as I started to ride back to Orygun.  By shipping I could spend a week seeing all the above plus a nephew in Vermont.

Trip report will be forthcoming in a few days.
