I'll post a ride report a little later, but after a 3,500 mile ride to Plattsburgh, I flew home via 22 hours of hell courtesy of United Airlines. Needing balm for the soul, yesterday I went out into the garage to start the rest of the fleet and go for a ride.
Slash Six: Pretty much fired right up, even though it's for sale.
Ural: Took a ton of coaxing, kickstarting to prime, but finally the electric starter got the sidecar up and running.
KLR: Ah, no. "I was supposed to go, but you took that Italian tramp, instead." Dead battery; won't even hold a charge. So ordered a new battery from Westco this morn to replace the ~three-year-old battery in the thumper.
There are days when I think two bikes is the perfect number. I just can never figure out which two.
