Hi, going to be in Scottsdale Mar 22-26.  Wondering if you could give me some good rides in the area?  I will be out on a golf holiday but can get in a 1 day ride. I will be renting a BMW from AZ-rides.  Any roads would be fine Possibly getting a dual purpose 1200 GS.

Thanks
Ray

1. Scottsdale to Apache Trail to Tortilla Flats, back to Scottsdale (1/2 day twisties, multiple laps from Apache Junction to Tortilla flats)

or

2. Scottsdale to Superior to Winkleman to Globe, back to Scottsdale (full day twisties & sweepers)

or

3. Scottsdale to Payson to Lake Roosevelt to Globe to Scottsdale (full day sweepers in the mountains)

or

4. Scottsdale to Wickenburg to Prescott to Jerome to Sedona, back to Scottsdale. (full day twisties & sweepers in the mountains).

Drop me a PM as it gets closer, and I can get more specific, or maybe take you on a tour.

If you ride slow it's a full day. If I do the speed limit, #2 takes 4 hours without stops from Mesa. Add 1/2 hour each way from Scottsdale and it's 5 w/o stops. Same thing for ride #3. #2 is by far the better ride for scenery and the twisty roads.
