I'll sell 'em when I get bored.

KZ750...it took 9 years, but it was all I could afford.
CM400...Wife decided she didn't want to ride. Sold in 6 months.
V-max...Aquired for a song, fixed, fun for 20 minutes, sold in 4 months.

I voted every year.  It's terrible, but I've had this habit of burning through bikes quickly looking for the perfect fit for me.  I think that I've found at least a lot of what I'm looking for in the VFR.

79 Yamaha XS400 - Not enough power, old
99 Buell M2 Cyclone - No wind protection, no 6th gear, loud at highway speeds (but man do I miss the rumble around town)
98 Yamaha YZF600R - I really only sold this bike to get my wife more into riding.  She didn't like riding on the back.
98 Honda Shadow Ace 1100 - The first time I rode this bike through the Ozarks I knew I needed a sport bike.
05 Honda VFR - The only complaint I have is that the wind seems to hit me in the chin neck area which causes buffeting and loud noise (hopefully solved with Zero Gravity Double Bubble).  Otherwise easily the best bike I've owned.

Replace?!?  You mean you can replace them?  Headscratch
I thought you just kept adding to the collection?  You know, like old Volkswagens. Bigok

In 23 years of riding I've had 7 bikes, so I guess about every three years.

With the Tuono and the BMW I'm pretty happy right now, so it might be awhile before the stable evolves again.   Bigok

I've been thinking about this for a while. I've even been looking around and considering options. Then I realized I just fooking love my rusty trusty '97 B-12. It's a lot more trusty than rusty, after all. I guess I might add something in the 600-750 range. Maybe an SV650 or a Wee-Strom. But I think I'm keeping the Bandito until they stop making gas.
