Likely, my '89 Yamaha FZR400 can use a late 80's Honda Accord rad cap.

I wonder if my ZX600 shares that cap? The last one I bought cost me nearly $30. Crazy

Doncha love how a car part can cost $4, but when you call that same part a motorcycle part, the cost jumps to $30?

Riding a motorcycle is perfectly safe.  And if I'm wrong, may my body be horribly crushed and mangled somehow.

That same cap fits my Eagle Talon and Isuzu Trooper, as well as my 85 900 Ninja. Pretty much there are two size radiator caps out there: big and small, American and "import" (i.e. asian). Of course, there are exceptions. Watch out that you put the correct pressure cap on though.

Yup that's the trick isn't it?

I remember looking through the caps at the local auto parts store, and not seeing one the right size let alone pressure. Might have to go a bit farther though. The local stores often don't carry some stuff the ones in the next town do.

The only way your geriatric ass could kick my ass is if I let you. Don't you have a SSI check to cash?
