The Nurburgring has caught out many a noobster due to its blind rises with curves lurking behind them  Crazy (i.e. blast over a rise only to be confronted with a curve and the realisation that you just passed your braking point a couple of hundred feet back)  Bigsmile

The 'Ring is legally considered a toll highway in Germany, I believe, which should mean that it would show up on GPS. Perhaps the tyranny of the blind rises has ended?

This has happened to me. It had nothing to do with the road, but rather past use of 80's designer drugs.

Yeah, I think there have been more than a few well-publicized horrific crashes there - especially when they've allowed multiple classes of vehicles on the track at the same time.
