Yep, it's chiliburger time again!
This year, we're combining forces with the IBA to hold our 11th annual Chiliburger Run on the same weekend as the IBA's first Pacific Northwest RTE (see

Way back in 2008, Will Lee mentioned a place in Idaho that had great Chiliburgers - the Riverside Restaurant in Horseshoe Bend.
A couple of folks started talking about it and a new Ride To Eat was born.
It has grown and grown every year until it is becoming a big event.
Traditionally held on the first weekend in October, we have moved it up one weekend to coincide with the IBA RTE event and combine our fun.
The Chiliburger lunch will be at noon in Horseshoe Bend at the Riverside Restaurant. Check out

We need to let the owner of the Riverside know how many of us plan to attend and how many want to order Chiliburgers. Please email me at
jzulaski@hotmail.com so that I can get an accurate count of both (we wouldn't want to run out of Chiliburgers now, would we?).
Also, it has been a tradition for riders coming from the southern regions to stop for the night before in Winnemucca, NV at the Days Inn. Most folks also gather there at Ormachea's Dinnerhouse for a nice dinner. You must make your own reservations for dinner but, they know a group of you are coming.
Here is information about both. You have to call and make your own reservations but, I have arranged a group rate. Just mention that you're with the "Iron Butt Association Chiliburger Run group" for a $65 room rate at the Day's Inn.
For those of you that just want to attend the Chiliburger Run, we've arranged a group rate of $59/night at the traditional Super 8 Hotel in Boise.

Keep in mind that the IBA's PNW RTE event starts on Friday, Sept 26th and continues on the 27th. So, if you want to attend their Friday night activities, you'll want to get there early.
