I was goofing around with my (new to me) bullet camera today on the Suzuki DR to see how a video would turn out.  I ended up editing it and making this little montage:

Nice Doug!  Thumbsup

I'm sorry YouTube compressed your good video into watery gruel. I spent hours once researching compression techniques, sizes, etc trying to get riding videos to look better on YouTube...and it was hopeless.  Lol No matter how good your video looks, YouTube thinks they can do a better job than you and recompresses the video, which destroys it. (This happens no matter what---even if you upload video that is *exactly* to YouTube's specifications!  Rolleyes)

Of course part of the problem is that a video like that represents the worst case scenario for compression---it's total hell on the codec since two-thirds of the entire frame is changing constantly with fast motion.

I need to find one of Garry's Vimeo videos...I think he said they don't recompress on upload like YouTube does...

Yea, I hate the video quality of that post.  I should really look into Vimeo.

I made a DVD version of my video to show the wife, it looks good.

Anyhow, you didn't comment on song selection.  I know that's a pet peeve of yours.   Bigsmile
