Nice Doug!

I'm sorry YouTube compressed your good video into watery gruel. I spent hours once researching compression techniques, sizes, etc trying to get riding videos to look better on YouTube...and it was hopeless.

No matter how good your video looks, YouTube thinks they can do a better job than you and recompresses the video, which destroys it. (This happens no matter what---even if you upload video that is *exactly* to YouTube's specifications!

)
Of course part of the problem is that a video like that represents the worst case scenario for compression---it's total hell on the codec since two-thirds of the entire frame is changing constantly with fast motion.
I need to find one of Garry's Vimeo videos...I think he said they don't recompress on upload like YouTube does...
