I don't know if it's a proper dirt bike or not. It's a 2003 and is a DRZ400 in green shorts. I'm definitely looking forward to checking out Tehuja (sp?) with the fellas at work.

Mostly I'm buying it because I need a bike that's dead reliable instead of reliably dead (the Goose has not been the same since it came apart and I need to have someone who really knows what they're doing go through). 55 mpg will be nice too.

Sorry 'bout the hijack. Smile

A KLX is much more than a DRZ in green skin.  Anyhow Tahuja is a great place and so is Capital Forest.  Supposely on the 22nd of this month I'm going to another place like those places where we can just go and burn gas.  It is on a Monday and I figure you'll be working or I'd invite ya as the other guys I'm going to be with won't be on such straight up dirt bikes as mine.

Ugh, between the music and the sound of a two-stroke trying to lug through a slow technical trail, that's a lot to ask.  Lol

Fun pictures. Post the video when you get it!  Thumbsup

Yeah sorry.  The idea was the trail.  That same dude has better videos.  Anyhow the point is the trails were super technical and never let up.

Yeah, no days off for me for a while. Business has slowed down a little but the sales season hasn't quite wound down just yet.

Actually a KLX is exactly a DRZ in green skin.  Fritz has got it right.

Yeah I guess so...but I see the KLX as more capable...even if they are the same bike.  Lol

That's ok...the place I'm talking about is DR-Z friendly too.

KTM motor, right? That's about all I know about them despite seeing them a few times (usually just being displayed, not ridden).

Wouldn't that overlap with your MTB riding?  Wink  Its kinda funny, cause we are both talking about the same types of bikes.  A road going sport tourer, a multi adventure bike, and a lightweight dirt bike.  Oh yeah a MTB (but mine never gets riden since I left the mountians)

So are you getting the vffr now?

Yeah, KTM motor. That's all I know too. They have some nice Husky TE's too.

Now I can pull the trigger on a VFR and mod it over the winter.  Smile I hope I'll like it but I just may give it a go. If I don't, I guess I can sell it.  Lol

 EEK!

Although there is, well, now it's was an admittedly large overlap between the TE and the Katoom.  Enjoy the Viffer; did I miss the pics of it?

Wow.

Just wow.

Actually, last night I was just wondering if the Sprint would be my last bike.  Not because it fulfills me, but because I ain't gettin any younger and I want to spend my money on a masters and skiing the next few wintes and lots of alcohol.

A couple of years ago I was taking some enology classes at the local junior college and enrolled in an upper level algebra course to brush up.  It's amazing how many young ladies there are who think that because you're older than their dad you're harmless. Razz  Loved that class.  And chemistry, too.
