Meet: 12:00 PM, @ Moxie Java, Eagle Rd. & Overland Rd.

This is right off the freeway. It's on the SE corner, around back.

Come with a full tank and ready to ride. From there we can decide how we want to get out to the lake. Bigok

If this doesn't work suggest a different place.  Smile

Location for meeting is fine with me. Is it in a shopping center or strip mall?

Is there a gas station close by where I can fill up prior to hitting M J?

Any thoughts on getting an earlier start? Noon will be warmer, but it is a bit later than I would like to start out. I'm thinking more in terms of missing some of the "Church" traffic and also arriving back home earlier.

I'd like to suggest 11:00am, with kickstands up ~15 min. later. I'll already be caffeined up. We can ogle XLR8's new VFR at a more picturesque locale, such as lake or other scenic vista. Lol

What say you?

Lake Owyhee is across the border into Oregon, south of Ontario.

You guys are more than welcome to ride with us.

Haven't heard if the others wish to revise the start time.

The lake is in the Owyhee mountains. If you've never been there, you might like it. It's gorgeous.

You do know that you can toss it in the dryer (low heat, armor out), right?

Still no heated gear?

OK, 11:OO it is.

Enjoyed it, folks. Thanks to Bill and Ron for leading the way and showing me some new roads. I think Ron has a secret feedlot fetish. The aroma is still with me.

Nice photos, Bill.

Since I had no idea where we were headed (or for that matter, where we were), I took off when I saw the sign for the interstate. Wanted to pass by the gun club to see what was going on. Looked like mostly hunters sighting in their rifles.

Time for a new rear tire. Mine is a flat/blowout waiting to happen.

That is one of my favorite short rides, I go there two or three times a year.  Wish I could have come with you but I'll be back in business next spring.
