Thanks Wibornz, I started driving a semi over the road  (OTR) last July and made it home 10 days total in the last 8 months. I wouldn't recomend it to anyone. Oh you'll see the country all-right....20 times... over and over and over. It worked out good though cus all I want to do now is tour OUR state this summer on the bike.

Wow, I remember my OTR days, can't say that I miss it.

Thanks Dave...how's it going? Yeah OTR does truly suck, except that you don't have a boss looking over your shoulder much like flying. And also, much like flying freight, nothing ever stays the same and the game plan has frequent changes which gets frustrating.

The good news though (and I could never find this situation when I was flying) is that there are seasonal opportunities out there. So, if you save your pennies when out on the road, you can play when you get home. I don't 'have' to be back until Aug 2nd.

The only other industry where you can 'play' during the summer is teaching. I can't stand adolescents and I would probably get my self in trouble on a college campus.

Anyway, I'm off to the eye doctor this morning...so I'll have blurry vision for the rest of the day. Figures it's going to gorgeous out this afternoon.

OK  Headscratch

Good Lord willing and the AD dosen't rise,  Sad I will be heading to AA about noonish tomorrow. G if you see this, I will give you a call and I will get Ted moving early so we can lock it down.  Cool Assuming someone else dosen't grab it first.  Crazy

It may be just me, but I prefer this way of posting. Put it out there where it is. Googleing is fun up to a point, but when I spend more time on the computer than on a road, it's just not right. Embarassment Embarassment I know there are a lot of those who get into that stuff, but as for me and others who don't want to offend the techno nerds - jsut put it out there so I can go get it.  Twofinger
