Oct RTE's in VT

Any idea how many people are showing up? Bennington is on the ny side of vt correct?  RT7 ? Been a while since I've been there.

Not sure on attendance, (from limited number of ST'N posts I'd say low St'rs but GRN is a ST1300 group member too. Fact, I've ridden with his folks and their great.
I was born in Bennington in 56', it is on the NY/VT border. Rt 9 VT goes thru Benn, turns to Rt 7 NY at the border which is about 6 or 7 mi west from Benn proper.

This usually draws 20+ bikes twice a year (beginning and end of season) from all over, one regular from Long Island, some guys from NJ, western NY, and of course southern New England. It's a mix of folks from the ST13, Sprint/RAT, and some from this and the NER forums.. great crew, good food, lots of good roads in every direction... how many excuses do you need?

 I thought I could and was looking forward to it. Now it turns out both those dates fall on the weekends I have to work in OCT. My schedule calls for work every other weekend, unfortunately, it falls on both RTE  dates.

Sorry, man... looks like it's gonna happen this weekend... we'll do it again in the spring, it's a ritual.

Madison Brewery in Bennington, 10.19 11:30 AM.... with a back up of 10.26 in case the weather is prohibitive.

Yes, this weekend, 10.19, which is the weekend skip can't make.

OK my confusion.
I'm off this weekend so if I go, I'll ride home and stay over w my brother Sat, then meet you guy's at the brewery on Sun and ride back this way with you all.

Heads up in the AM tomorrow folks... had black ice up here this AM, gonna be mid 20's again tonight. Riders from the south probably don't have as much to be concerned about, but keep the eyes up regardless. We're shortening our route down and leaving an hour later to take it out of the mix as much as possible.

There are a bunch of folks coming up from CT (Kemposter, Georgeorge coming from east of Hartford), probably hooking up with some of the guys coming from MA.

There was some guys there from this board in Bennington? What a bunch of great bikes out front. Both sides of the street! Talked with a guy with a yellow BMW R1200S. I think. Only 400 something pounds R12. That's got to be fun! I don't know if he is from the board. Sweet ride!
I was there as well. Icon reflective vest. Silver Honda ST1300 "Quicksilver" with top box and "extra" black mirrors fastened to the stock mirrors.
