Spitting snow in Bend, but nothing like the fluff that came down at the start of the Packer-Seahawk game.  Ahh, the arrival of Ural weather. Bigsmile

WEll, I'm so new at this I don't know what to say except ---- Brrrrrrr! Woke up to a popsicle for a bike yesterday morning. What's with that? Took me 15 minutes or more of chipping off all the ice before I could ride. You didn't think a little ice would stop a Rounder did you? C'Mon now!

First one from Orygun? Says who?

I had to try 3 doors on my car this morning before finding one that wasn't so frozen it wouldn't open. sheesh. And the wonderful Orygun DOT mindset of laying down fuckin GRAVEL to help us deal with a little snow. Yeah, great idea. Paint job be sacrificed.

Bob,

have you considered public transportation? This area has a decent system. Yeah, no need to do anything stupid and break your bike or yourself.

The brochures said snow rarely ever comes this way. Dang it all. Mad2

The Wrangler has come in handy so far this week.  Of course Monday I couldn't resist and drove the two blocks from driveway to the first stop sign in my subdivision...sideways.

Gotta love the combo of rearwheel drive, short wheelbase, and fresh snow.  I'd switch back and forth from sliding driver's side first to passenger side first just for grins.  Razz

Now that's the way to make productive use of an internet outage.  Congrats on the DR!
