hey all,

Last week I shot and edited a music video for a Calgary-based singer and thought you guys might want to view it.   The abandoned barn location was 'discovered' via a web-forum posting a KLR rider found while exploring the area around the Calgary area.  I saw the pictures, contacted the rider and details were exchanged... 2 months later the video was shot.  The location is out by McKinnon Flats on the Bow river, just east of Calgary.  It goes to show that these web forums can be pretty damn useful.

The video is a country as they come, so those with leanings towards rock and metal and rap.. be warned!

For those living in the Kootenays, you might recognise the singer as being from the Cranbrook area.

If you feel like passing the link around here it is.

Naturally the more views on YouTube... the better.

Thanks

Nice smile. I hope she didn't take 2 steps right and 1 back.

Yep, the floor was full of large holes.  I had to go out and bounce around before she would step into the spot I wanted her to sing in.  It kind of limited her in that she couldn't move around very much.  The cameras were out on much safer ground Bigsmile

Where was the band?

She sings with 3 different bands.  To keep the in-fighting down between them, she decided to do this one as a solo.  Naturally, now that they've seen final product, all three bands want to get involved for the next one ...which only one will actually get to participate in.
