So I was watching TV and there was this show about the world's best places to pig out.

#4 was Beth's Cafe in Seattle
#3 was a restraunt in Seiad Valley, Ca

Beth's is known for its 12 egg omelette.  Seiad is known for its massive stack of pancakes.

I looked it up...they are 532miles apart.

So what if you start at Beth's, get a 12 egg omelete, then head down to Seiad and get some pancakes and then return back to Beth's for some more food. Smile

Possible? I don't think so.   Lol

You'd pretty much be shooting #14 of the Archive of Wisdom all to hell. http://www.ironbutt.com/tech/aowprintout.cfm although Kneebone might find it entertaining the story of details on how one rids themself of the food during the ride. Wink

Also, one route shows as 532 miles.  However, there is a shorter route of 508 that's more direct.  1016 would be cutting it a bit close for documentation purposes.

Tack a few extra miles onto it and it sounds great!

I think I'd save the omlet for the END of the ride though. Maybe you could hit one of the spots at the start AND end and do the other around the mid-point. Yum!  Lol

Actually, there's a really awesome milkshake place in Hanford, CA. It's called the Superior Dairy. Conveniently that's 510 miles from Seiad Valley. There's your ride - Omelet to Pancakes to Milkshake.

In true Beth's spirit, you need to be out drinking Jack and Coke all night; then go have the 12 egg omelet; puke it all on the sidewalk in front of Aurora Suzuki; and then start the ride.

A couple more weekends, I think I'll have enough practice...  Beerchug

So are we going to do this, or are you just day dreaming?

I'm intrigued with Saied, and that's all it takes to ride the 1340 miles to get there.

Eat-ride-eat-ride-sleep.........sounds like a plan. When are the dates?

I like Pancakes!  Banana

Just checking in. pass through this site and thread and saw some familiar "handles" and just wanted to butt-in.  Sorry, that's a character defect of mine!!  Seems I will be meeting up with some of you next summer in hot, humid, mosquito driven western SC.  As being from the deep south in the day, bring a church fan and repellent, it will be useful.

I don't know of a scooter that can the minimum average speed necessary to do a SS1K. Agter you factor in the 12-14 stops for gas since they have such a miniscule tank.
