Mesh scares me. The jacket also doesn't appear to be able to zip into your pants. Not much of a bargain if you ask me.

Yup.  That thing will tear like wet tissue paper in a wreck.  Read through any mesh/textile accident report on this site...

I've had the Aquavent (a Supervent with a waterproof lining) for years.  The armor doesn't conform well to your elbows or shoulders, unlike any other jacket I've worn including my Teknic Sprint that I love.

The Supervent does vent well.  I use my AV to ride around town, but no highways.

WTH... 1K lets everybody in on the secret (OK, everybody that isn't bright enough to subscribe to email from NewEnough) and yer all giving static about the deal??? WTF over...

If I didn't already have a perfectly serviceable mesh (BOO!) and leather jacket purchased (on clearance!) from NewEnough, I'd be all over this deal. And for what it's worth, the Teknic Supervent has been in production for a LONG-ASSED-TIME. Not usually the hallmark of a piss-poor design. It is also probably the best free jacket that I've ever had given to a close friend and returning newbie.

Enough with the dogpile. If you don't trust it, DON'T FUCKING BUY IT. Jezzus, is it already February? Bunch of frustrated people around here and it isn't even time for the mid winter blues to be making folks nuts.

Relax there turbo. I made a comment...don't like it? Kiss my ass. This site is specifically so that people can say things and other people comment. That is what a forum is. Don't like it? Don't read the post.

And don't let me catch you in a HD thread ever... Twofinger

Oh, I live in San Diego...no mid-winter blues for me. Let's talk in Feb and see how much riding you're doing.
