I voted for Gunnison because it seems to have a good vibe from what I've read here. Actually anywhere in CO would be fine by me. I've been looking for an excuse to return to CO and I just found it.

I vote Gunnison because it is in the middle of an area with some great roads and it is close to my favorite place to camp and hike--Lake City. You can rent dirt bikes in Lake City and ride on an alpine loop--a jeep trail--that takes you over some great mountain passes. IMO, this is the most scenic part of CO.
