How about meeting in Bancroft?  On October 25th?  For lunch on Saturday?  Maybe just for the day, maybe spending the night in town and continuing the fun on Sunday?

The weather could be iffy, and I haven't booked anything yet, but maybe this might work if there's any interest.

What say you?

I might actually be able to do that. I have friends who are building a log cabin in Bancroft. He used to race and just bought a new Monster 2 weeks ago and talked his wife into buying a Kawi 500. Maybe he'd like to join us if it happens. I'll keep track of this thread.

Hell Ya!!  I live in Bancroft (I think thats a good thing...) They have just resurfaced some of the roads around here in the last few months. And the tourists have all gone home! Let me know... I'm in for sure!

Let's keep an eye on the weather and on this thread.  It'll be good to get out on one last blast before it's too late.

And let's leave my ass out of this.

Yes.
And thank-you!  Smile

Once again, work rears it's ugly mug. OTOH, the weather's bound to be stellar.  Embarassment

Best wishes.  Bigok

I'll keep that day open.
Might be a good way to finally get that heated liner (I'm thinking the made-in-Canada blackjack, $200 retail for liner (i.e. vest with sleeves) but just an on-off switch, no heat-troller.)

Hey JF, I have the Black Jack and it's been great. But I seem to remember paying only around $125.00
I also only have an off/on switch I got at Home Depot and it works just fine.

My schedule now appears to have a conflict that weekend so..................right now it's not looking good. Thumbsdown

Any suggestions for where to meet for lunch,

Oh if I for some reason end up leading, pay attention this time, I can't see a high vis suit if you are 2 km behind (and around the last corner).

There are a few places for lunch...
TO's pub-on the corner of both streets in town. (Great Club sandwich.)
The Hideaway-in Coe Hill. (Great everything!)
Uhmmm,,, Subway, McDonalds, Timmies,etc...

Slight thread jack...

Was there a single motorcycle rider in Ontario who was not on the Peterson road yesterday?

But it was a gorgeous day for it...

Anybody in the Barrie area? I am still at CFB Borden and I now have my bike here with me Inlove  I am here for 1 more week. I graduate Friday the 17th of Oct.  If anyone is around and you see a silver viffer with Alberta plates, and the rider wearing a black joe rocket leather jacket with honda all over it, and a silver Nolan helmet that would most likely be me...unless I have an identical pervert,  I mean twin.

Royal Canadian Navy. Regular Office Training Plan 1965-1966. I got out before the ink was dry on the welcome papers but I sure got off on 45 year old sailors saluting me and not having to wait in line with the enlisted riff raff. Bigsmile
