I heard a weird noise so I looked outside. There's water all over the street and it's dripping from the sky. There are actually drops of water coming from the sky. It's really strange. And it sounds kind of cool when it hits the tree leaves and the roof.

I apologize, it's all my fault. I washed my truck earlier this week. I've owned it for four years and washed it twice and each time it rained within a couple of days.

My bad.

My gear is still soaked from yesterday.

Oh and it's raining in Bend.  Guess it's not going to be one of our Chamber of Commerce days of 300 days of sunshine.  Their total BS marketing gimmick, not an actual U.S. Weather Bureau stat.  Twofinger

Bill, your timing requirements don't really work for me on Sunday.

Maybe I'll just ride to Idaho City or Garden Valley for some coffee and pie. Need to charge the battery, as I haven't been on the bike all week.

Haven't done motorcycle-anything this weekend.   Sad  Spent the weekend organizing the Jaguar Concours up in Idyllwild.    Bigok

That said, the drizzle/rain held off RIGHT UP to the end of the show and the trophy presentation.

It was perfect!!!!   Bigok

Last year after it didn't rain for three months on the way home from work I watched 3 different cars do 180s on the nice slick roads. I was in a cage too.  Thumbsup

Yep I woke up to rain (4:45 AM) decided not to ride to work today, first rain of the season and all. Rained on and off, but mostly a constant rain, on the way to work. Now that I am off work the sky is clear and I had to DRIVE home Thumbsdown I almost never ride on the first rain of the year but today I wish I had.
It's OK I bet I hit a lot of rain in the next few days Bigsmile

It was stunningly beautiful this late afternoon on my ride to work. Crystal clear blue skies with scattered white and gray clouds and the trees are just starting to turn to their autumnal colors. I should have brought my camera it was so bitchin'.

Nice cool weather break.

Here in Ensenada, the sky is as clear as I've ever seen, light breezes, and upper 60s for temperatures.

Champagne is open, and it's an awesome day!   Bigok

Had a great ride today,  out Comptche road and up the coast to Legget.  The coast was beautiful, never seen the ocean this color blue before.  Not too many cages out, mostly going the other direction.
Mendocino may have it's problems, but man it is absolutely the best for riding.   Inlove

A few weeks ago one evening, I thought I smelled an electrical fire or something. I was searching every room and noticed that the smell was coming from outside. Turned out to be a light sprinkle hitting the asphalt street.
First rain in 8 months -- lasted about 5 minutes. Headscratch
