I really screwed up this time. Yesterday was perfect riding weather so I was having a NICE ride into work. I rather like my daily commute. Anyway, there is a nice twisty section on TN 81 that I was  enjoying a bit more than usual when I am passed by the same "outstanding public servant" that pulled me over back in August. I saw him hit his lights as we passed in the curves. There really wasn't a place for him to get turned around until he got out of the curvy part so I made haste. I spotted a gate open into a hay field and I went and hid behind a baler. A minute or so later he comes flying back up the road with lights and sirens.    Twofinger

Needless to say, I went the opposite way and took an alternate route to work. The problem is I am sure he knows who I am. I take that road to work at the same time several days each week. I ain't gonna get by with NOTHIN' on that road for a very long time. I'm gonna have to either DRIVE or take the damned interstate for a while.   Sad

I'm also thinking I might want to go ahead and pay the fine from August and not risk him showing up in court. Ahh, dammit!   Mad2

Oh, and the thing about the gate into the field...there was no gate. It was a cattle guard!   Crazy  I bet I looked like a Village People fan doing the "Y.M.C.A." trying not to wreck. At one point I think the only thing I had attached to the bike was my audio cord. (FYI, my TourMaster pants were later recovered from my colon without the use of power tools.)   Lol

I'm a gurl, I ride a Weestrom and I am way past being old enough to know better. How do I get myself into these things?

I took I-26 home this morning. I still have a separated shoulder and really don't want to be handcuffed behind my back.

Y'all Have a Nice Day!

To add to your fun, he can still write you the ticket for speeding. If he knows who you are already, he can mail it to you.

Screw it. Leaves you with a good story at least. Been a long time since I've hidden from the cops. Sure is fun though. Wink

Good for you Sara.

Good? Are you nuts? Do you realize how unflattering wide horizontal stripes are? Will I have to get a tattoo if I go to jail?

I'm gonna behave. I'm going to start riding the NX250. It can only really speed if it is in a school zone. Lol

Even if he does pull you over at some point to deliver some deferred justice you still have a last line of defense.

Batt your eyes and twist your foot and sheepishly say, "Oh sorry officer I never saw you..."

For 65 in a 45 a couple months ago. I passed an unmarked car. (no really, I PASSED him) He was driving like a blue-haired old woman. I didn't know it was a cop.

Well, when you go to court for the speeding ticket I wouldn't mention the hay bale incident, nor would I openly smirk .
