I could be wrong but running and hiding changes a fine into a felony  EEK!

Lol Luckily, he never saw me again after the curve. I simply disappeared. There are multiple side roads I could have taken but the hay field was handy. He could only speculate where I went. He can't prove a thing...this time. I promise I'll be good from now on. Wink

What if the PoPo reads sporttouring.net

I wonder if it would be admissible.

I am not sure so I have no stories to tell, since I am always a law abiding citizen. Rolleyes

Of course you could always say that you told the story about the hay bale for the amusement of other advriders because it was so much better than the truth.

The truth is you were overcome with a gastronomic emergency which you attended to in the best place you could find, behind the hay bale.

Don't y'all have a local chapter for G.R.I.T.S. in New England?

Fixed

BTW I ride a BMW R1150RS  with Ohlins, so I can post here.  I also take it on the dirt, I have been on some roads in AR where I should not have been.  So I post in advrider also.

Their posts of late have been pretty interesting.

Good? Are you nuts? Do you realize how unflattering wide horizontal stripes are? Will I have to get a tattoo if I go to jail?

If he had his digital dash cam running... well, you just might as well bring your toothbrush to court on Nov. 5th...

I don't see it!  She states that she was in the curve and as they passed he put his lights on.  For all she knows he is trying to stop someone ahead of him.

-He has to prove that she knew he wanted her to stop (if he wants to prove failing to stop for police) and that she took off on him.  I don't see how he can do that when he didn't see her anymore after he passed her, so how can he say she took off.   Sure he knows in his own mind she evaded him, but prove that to a court.

-He has to identify her as the rider of the motorcycle that was speeding (at least he does in where I live, but of course it may be different where she lives).  If she was wearing a full face I don't see how he can prove that.  To say that it "must" be her because he stopped her a few weeks before sure isn't identification of her being the rider this time. If by law he has to identify her, then he won't be sending her a ticket in the mail.

Personally I don't think she has anything to worry about in regards to this incident.  She better hope that he doesn't see her committing an offence in the future, because getting a break, well, very unlikely.

+1 on painting the bike and helmet.  One point bikers! Zero points involuntary government donation collectors! Twofinger

A squid would have stayed on the same road and gone way too fast winding up in a serious accident.  Rollin in the hay by yourself and not even a goat?  That's hot!  If I PM my number Sara, will you promise to call?  Inlove

I too have "dipped" down a few available logging trails.  It makes me feel like a kid again playing hide and go seek. Bigsmile

Accessory "tools"...
...that inflict pain...
...while you remain in command...

Hmmmm

(and you remaining in command, that's the point of this whole thread, right?!)

Headscratch Not following ya there Jim. I would try to discourage the leg humpers with a rolled up newspaper but I am afraid that the ones on this site would like it.
