There was a good turn-out at Ephrata First Sunday this morning.  The nice 50-degree weather brought out another nice mix of bikes.  The top lot was somewhat full, and the middle lot was maybe 3/4 full.

I checked out this new Monster 696, seemed really small and lacking the class of the SportClassic beside it.

There were a number of old GS's there, which I enjoy seeing.

Looks like this guy brought his girlfriend along on the ride.

Then of course I went for a ride.

Sorry I can't get a look at the bike as the Tiger is in the way.  Wink

Thanks for sharing the pics as I did see a lot of bikes on the road today.

I was there by 0745 and back on the road to DE by 0930. Didn't bring a camera this time.  Next "First Sunday" is in March. Anyone know of any good RTE events in the area during the winter?

You're a much earlier-riser than me.   Embarassment  Let us know if you come up with any winter RTE's in this area.

My alarm clock had a "DST Reset Actuator failure".

Maybe we should create some small RTEs for riders who don't have enough sense to put their bikes away for the winter?  Possibilities: Gap Diner, The Windmill (Morgantown), Cloisters, Delta Diner, Silk City Diner.

I was thinking the same sort of thing.  It seems like Gap would be a nice and fairly central location.

Gap sounds good! I don't plan on putting mine up for the winter.

Skipped this past Sunday to do yard work. I'm sorry I did, but a clean yard is my reward.

 Thumbsup for Gap.

My weekend rides often take me with in a few miles the town clock anyway.

You too, Jerry. We have to do a ride some time soon.  Thumbsup

My favorite thing about going to Ephrata is Rt. 897 on the way to and fro'. It's just a nice ride with a few sections of awesome. Thumbsup

I agree that section in the image is the best part of 897 and it never seems to fail that I catch up to traffic. There is another section just before reaching Rt 30 that is always slick as the rear tire always gives a little slide.

Maybe I'll ride up to the gap diner if you all go...  Bigok
