I reckon that seller has not been around bikes or out of the house very much!!  Lol Sure glad he figured out it was not a "Gold Wing"
I ran into one on ebay a week or so ago that had a picture of a Kaw.Concours Alternator that he was selling as a "Hydraulic Pump" Crazy Headscratch

Why is it so bad this guy doesn't know bikes? It's a freakin' estate sale, probably some family member that never rode or even was around bikes.

It's no biggie.

I mean... how many people know what, for instance, an oscilloscope is used for? Haw many people can use a sextant? Seriously, what't he hell is a beet press? Not everyone knows bikes. In fact, we enthusiasts are a pretty freaking small minority.

I can see where he might have been confused. The only way to properly identify a 1970 CL 350 is to look for the milk crate bungied to the sissy bar.

That's what I was thinking. Not everyone can know everything about everything like all of you obviously do. I would think he would research a little before Ebaying it, but if he's trying to sell an entire estate he probably doesn't have time to bother with it.

So when does SWriverstone buy it, restore it, then write a trip report about the joys of touring on a sub-350cc classic bike which turns into 76-page thread on displacement?

J/K, I love ya, baby.   Smile

When you get to my age, you have to have yours scoped pretty regularly.  And it's not pleasant.
