Ive got a ride planned starting on Tuesday that leads from Oklahoma into Arkansas and then north to Missouri. However it looks like a lot of rain in those areas so Im looking for an alternate route from Oklahoma City to eastern Texas and maybe into northern Louisiana. Anyone have some recommendations for good roads in those areas?

Not that I know of; not that are worthwhile anyway.  Most of us NETexans head to AR.

The area around Lake Palestine is scenic with pine trees and stuff...but the roads aren't anything to write home about. Some sweeping curves and whatnot.

The best roads start around Mena, Arkansas and head in a northeasterly direction  Smile
