I took a 400 mile ride today along Washington's Highway 14. Not all motorcycle roads need to be twisty, curvy tests of one's manhood. I ride for the raw beauty of the land less traveled. High desert can be unforgiving yet starkly radiant to behold. The weather changed from overcast & drizzling to clear vibrant blue skies & puffy clouds. What a perfect day!

Did you do anything to enhance the blue sky?  It's strikingly vivid, I love it!

Thx...

LOL Believe it or not Jim I had to actually tone it down to make it believeable. You run into that a lot here as the air is so clear & clean things sort of pop out at you. Another example below of Crater Lake shows water that is super blue. Trust me that this photo doesn't do it justice.

I'm also a fan of Wa.14, as the scenery is almost always interesting, with a few fun sections thrown in to keep the tires warm.

Your photos, as usual, capture the beauty very well. Thanks for sharing.
