I've seen photos of some seriously farkled bikes on this site. My SV isn't very farkled, but here's a picture.

http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n306/stefrrr/650ready.jpg
That's before I got the GIVI rack & case.

Here it is with it.
http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n306/stefrrr/100_3579.jpg

I've just added barend mirrors, auxiliary lights (cheapos from autozone), a slightly worse for wear Yosh RS3, and a seat cowl.

Do you have the most farkled bike at STN? And remember...  NeedPics

Thats because the serious farklers are out in the garage fabbing-up mounting brackets for laptops, and cappuccino machines.

I like it, farkled but tasteful. I also like the 1000 you have for sale.

I just don't have a picture of my dash...and I fell on and smashed my digital camera during my last ride (plus it really isn't that farkled).

Dammit. I know that we have some good examples.

This is CLAY's Bandit from the Bandit Thread.

http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l58/clay_lubbers/Bandit1200/Bandittour005.jpg

It'd be great to see who has what on their bike and what they think about it.

I like it, I just don't know if I want to get rid of my Bandit. We have grown kind of close commuting every day.

Apparently the camera still works, you just can't see what you're actualy taking a picture of until you put the SD card in the computer

GPS III+ with Touratech cradle and RAM arm
Heated grips
Wired for Gerbing
Awesome Walmart wristwatch
Emig Racing Damper and 20mm offset triple clamps
useless Acerbis mirror
Headlight cut-off switch (even though the low beam projector it's wired to doesn't work either way)
Cycra Probend hand guards
Touratech rear rack
Welding rod tool box

...and custom welded skid plate.  Lol

I'll deliver.  Bigsmile

You probably don't want to PM me for the price, because then you'll REALLY want to buy it.

I have a farkle in progress (that has now been relegated to a "winter project"). A custom designed ECU that will control the aux HID lights, the video camera and my iPod all from a small keypad. Not visually interesting but I think it would probably win "most pointless farkle" and maybe the "biggest overkill" award.  Lol

Dammit. I know that we have some good examples.

This is CLAY's Bandit from the Bandit Thread.

http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l58/clay_lubbers/Bandit1200/Bandittour005.jpg

It'd be great to see who has what on their bike and what they think about it.

On there you see the Sirius Sat radio, thermomter/clock, GPS, custom (I made the mounts) mirror mounted fog lights and aftermarket mirrors.
OK- the rest:
http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l58/clay_lubbers/Bike%20Trip-%20June%2008/cd74e3bb.jpg
I enlarged the tank by cutting it in half and adding 3" to the height.
I fabbed the engine guards/highway pegs from scratch
I made a rack (basically a simplified sissy bar) to hold the luggage on the pillion seat
Doesn't count for much, but I redid the pipe mounts to lower it a little to get the clearance beneath the GIVI.
I had the "B12" stickers made for the bike and ditched the stock stickers.
You can't see it, but there's a headlight modulator (put on two days ago) and a Stebel Nautilus horn.
   Throttle lock.

I think that covers it.   Bigok

Love the wristwatch on the master cylinder. I had a friend who kept complaining about wanting a clock on his bike, and was endlessly contemplating a $90 Formotion clock. I went to Wal-Mart, bought a analog, water resistant, glow in the dark wristwatch, and strapped it to my handlebar. Been working flawlessly for months.
Total cost: $8.00. Look on my buddie's face: Priceless.

Won't the mirror work better if it's turned the other way?  Lol
