KBB says ~$4800, obviously the condition and low mileage increase book value, but by how much?  What's a fair offer?

Not by THAT much I would guess.  I thought the FZ1, while being a GREAT bike, didn't hold its value?

That's like way high!

I have seen average mile 2004s go for less than $5k.  There's a guy selling an 05 w/800 miles on the FZ1 board for $5,800.

Yowtch!  There was a time, you could get a new one for almost that.  University Honda in Seattle had a couple for $7200, brand new.

The first gen FZ1 is a terrific bike.  But that '01, no matter how clean, isn't worth more than $4,500.  Heck, it's six years old.

If you want to discuss purchasing mine, I'm interested in selling.

2004 12k miles. (actually this is an estimation I can check tonight) Lowsided when a car cut me off, so it has some scuffs but I had crash bars on it which took 90% of the force. It's perfect mechanically. Blue.

Ventura rack and sport bag included.

I bought my ultra clean 2003 Bee with 10K miles for $5000.  It had Pilot powers, an Ivans jet kit, and a Yosh slip on as the only mods.  At this point I'm in love  Inlove  I'd like to buy a brand new one in a crate and keep it for when this one is all worn out.

On an FZ1, probably just a chain check and oil change. 26,000 mile valve check intervals.
