Do I have my priorities out of order? On one hand, I can take classes this summer and receive the full benefit of my 08-09 financial aid and be a semester closer to graduation, or I can take the summer off and work and go to the national.

So far, I'm leaning towards the latter just so I can go to the national.  Embarassment

So your coming to this website, and ask a logical question pertaining to the National and your future? Snerk....I'm thinking most people are gonna tell you to blow off your future for a weeks worth of fun.  Bigok

See? I didn't even realize that there might be something wrong with my prioritizing until I told Ray, "Maybe I won't take classes this summer so I can go to the national in Colorado."

He looked at me funny.  Headscratch

Seems perfectly reasonable to me.  Wink

Or, you could do both, and just make arrangements with your profs that you WILL be gone during this time, and you'll come back with bribes of CO microbrews and awesome pictures.

Win win!

In the last few minutes of your life, and your looking back, which decision will you think you should have made?

And your gonna wish you did that SS1000 too!

I'd rather ride twisties in the rain with leaking gear for three days straight than do a SS1000.  Razz

Make arrangements with the professor before class begins.  Study really hard before and after.  You can do both no problem.
