It is stunning, isn't it  Bigsmile

Needs new tires though. They POs seemed to like long straight stretches of road. Plus they are older BT57's. I don't think that they are even made any longer.

That was the GTS. I sold that last year about this time. It was a cool bike, and if there was any aftermarket or manufacturer support for it, I would have kept it. Finding parts or farkles was next to impossible.

Lot's of good 'bird stuff out there.  Cool

Very purdy! Looks just like mine. It's a great bike but I think that the speedo on them is messed up because every time I look down at mine I seem to be going 120 mph and I know that I never ever go over the speed limit. Wink

The final nail in the coffin of the 1000F?

You know I really like the 'cane. It's a really good bike, and I bought it as a 'tweener thinking I would get another, but it's lasted the longest of my recent bikes.
It's farkled well and rides great. It will be a sad day when it rides away. But alas it will ride away.  Sad

I suspect the rides great part will become less and less relevant now that its grandson is in the house.  Sometimes I miss mine.  Usually when I'm looking at pictures of it all clean.  Then I remember it wallowing around in turns and eating batteries and then I don't miss it so much.  I definitely remember loving it in cold weather and on the interstate.  Balllistic sofa.

+ 1 for Jeannie's legal prowess.  Thumbsup This may be a very good idea all things considered.

She sure helped me out a while back during the ole "FJR" days (the damn throttle kept sticking open on that bike   Headscratch  Embarassment).

Side Note:  I think you will find the XX to be much smoother through the RPM range than the Fejjer.

Good luck and enjoy the new ride.

Beautiful XX.  That is my favorite color.  They seem to be rare.  Infact I've never seen one in person.  The best part of owning the bird is that no one knows what they are, kinda like a ZZR1200.

I'm the third owner of my bike and put about 17,000 happy miles on mine last year with not a problem to be found.
