I got to admit that when the temp dip below freezing I leave the bike in the garage. The cold is not such an issue, I have the gear to handle low temps.  The problem is ice on the roads.  Around here you can get moisture seepage most anytime. Its just not worth the risk.

yeah...I'm always much more cautious and aware of the road surface in these temperatures...don't seem to get much moisture working out in this area, so as long as no precipitation has occurred, I'm riding  Thumbsup

My 'commute' is 8 minutes total, or is that miles? Takes longer to put clothes on than it does to ride, almost! I do ride it some in the Summer, when I take the long road home.

BUT....The heater in the Blazer is broken, so yeah, it's cold Smile

tough to even call that a commute...mine is about 10 miles and 20-25 minutes for the short route...a nice summer night could result in a 100 mile trip home Bigsmile

Yeah, I've never lived very far from where I work, I guess that's sort of nice.

I've been riding every day so far. It was 29 on Monday. I didn't even turn on the heated jacket. The gloves are nice and warm though Smile
