The company that insures our car and home in France is telling me that I can't insure my motorcycle without a european driver's permit. I have had a U.S. auto and motorcycle permit for over 35 years, but that doesn't seem to help much. Can anyone recommend an insurance company or agent that handles motorcycle insurance?

They would insure me (with a US registered bike and a US license) for everything except theft. There should be other companies if they don't agree to do it.
