I will probably decline spending another 300.00 to address my concern.  Rolleyes

Even though for some reason this helpful thread turned into "Rev'it Trashing Thread" I'm bringing it back from dead. There are some new and exciting products for 2011 and I thought you guys should know.

REV'IT! Energy HV - Good jacket for commuters on a budget. Fits great, and costs only $249.99

REV'IT! AXIS - matching pant for the above jacket, and first true overpants from REV'IT!. Easy to get into, and cheap. Did I mention it's cheap? $139.99 buys you a wonder of Dutch engineering:)

REV'IT! VENTURA - first ever really technical Adventure touring jacket for ladies. It feels incredible and I expect it so sell great. Most ladies have been asking for something like this for years, it's finally here. Not exactly free at $449.99 but when you think about what you are getting for your dollars, it's a very good value. Of course matching pants are available so you can spend even more Smile

REV'IT! TORNADO. Good quality mesh jacket with removable waterproof liner. This magic liner has thin insulating layer built into it, so if things get a bit cold, you can still survive. With this one REV'IT! is getting close to some budget brands, and quality and materials still remain great - $299.99. Matching pant will set you back another $259.99. Still not bad, considering this could pass for 3 season suit. Did I mention ladies versions are available?

REV'IT! PHANTOM GTX - Really technical Gore-Tex glove without any insulation. I can bet with heated grips and hand guards most of us will be able to use it all year round. Comes with ultimate Gore-Tex warranty, you can swim in them and your hands will stay dry. $189.99 price hurts, but you get what you pay for.

REV'IT! EVEREST. This big boy should be the best thing since sliced bread, and at that price it better be. I have yet to test one but I'm sure mr. Gore will not let it fail our expectations.

There are more products but these are the ones I think might interest some of you. The rest could be seen here.

Feel free to PM me any questions (or post them here but no bashing you bastards!)

Just a follow up from the wash the Sensor Jacket/destroyed the jacket thread from about a 1 1/2 years ago.

I found another brand new Sensor jacket in my size on fleabay for a terrific price. One of the best cold weather jackets I've owned. I just have to be careful when cleaning it..... read instructions first. Embarassment Smile

I have to agree with you on those boots - they were junk. I'm personally blown away how much better REV'IT! gets with every new collection.

Well, waterproof for a while, anyway.

I have the Sidi On Road boots. They have NEVER leaked or soaked through. I  have ridden in a sustained downpour from newport to Tukwilla (about 5 hours of riding in driving rain), and my feet were dry and toasty warm.

My only beef with my RevIt jacket is that the snap on the collar is pitiful.  You breath on the collar and the snap comes undone.  Second beef is the loop on the collar that attaches to a tab on the left shoulder frayed and snapped in half in less than a year.

Otherwise, I've been pretty impressed with RevIt! jacket and pants.  Cold weather gloves have done very well, too.  The rain liners and the second set of cold weather liners have done a solid job of keeping me dry and warm.  The other bonus is the red has not faded to pink in the three years or so I've been using the jacket/pant combo.

Been the first in the industry to go to a slot and turnkey for neck fasteners?   Lol

Rode our Urals the other night and my buddy who was following me said the jacket lit up really well in the places where it has retroflectivity.

Again, I have been impressed with how durable the jackets and pants have been.  The velcro on the wrists hasn't worn out, the zippers all work, the seams are still holding tight.  My other riding wear is a high viz Olympic two-piece and I finally threw it out.  Velcro had lost it's capability to catch, zipper replaced twice on jacket, three times on right pant leg and once on left. stitching was frayed, etc.  Got three seasons out of it and 40,000 to 50,000 miles.

RevIt stuff has maybe 10,000 to 15,000, but a lot of that was in dual sport mode, which is harder on everything.
