Welcome !!!  Headscratch... are you towards town from the Dam or later on along 28 ??

I love 28 and hope to ride it again this month and overnight in Gold River. I know the area fairly well ...

Glad to have you .. don't be a stranger.

Lloydminster, SK.  About one block from Alberta.  It's not the curves that keep you awake in SK, it's the dips, holes and ruts in the pavement that keep life interesting. Lol

Nude Calendar Seeks to Raise Awareness of Town's Pothole Plight
Tuesday, December 05, 2006

Residents of a small Canadian town are fed up and they are getting naked to prove it.
People in Leader, Saskatchewan, are sick of the lousy state of their main road. In an effort to showcase their frustration to the world, residents posed in the buff with something all too familiar to their town: potholes.
The pictures are part of a special calendar designed to alert people to the plight of Leader's highway, Reuters reported.
Twelve local businesspeople posed in various positions for the calendar, revealing their birthday suits alongside some of their favorite potholes.
Leader, a town of only 1,000 people in a rural area of Saskatchewan, says it doesn't have the money to fix all of its roads.
"The potholes are not small, one-foot diameter potholes. They are many feet across and sometimes they're as deep as a foot deep and sometimes they will stretch for yards," Elhard told CBC television.

It took me a while to find this thread. But I was thinking of starting another one and thought maybe, this was still around. Some great memories and lost friends posted here.

I live in Castlegar, BC and have hung out here on St.n for a long time and met some great peeps through this site.

Say hi and tell us a bit more than your profile name suggests .... eh ?

Rigger: a termed coined for the aircraft mechanics that used to rig aircraft cabling for structures and flight controls.  I used to be an Airframe Technician in the Airforce and we worked on flight controls as well as other aircraft systems and components.  In my current RCAF (God I love saying that) trade as an Aerospace Control Operator i have an actual callsign or handle.  My current callsign is Stroker.  But many know me as Rigger and for many many years so I am keeping that.
