Interesting info on military bikes. There are 9 pages total. Didn't the US Army use the XR400 at one time?

Yes they did.  My brother used to be a light wheel vehicle mechanic for the Special Forces.  He could tear one down pretty much blindfolded, well a few years ago for sure.  Can't remember if it was gas or diesel?

Just read up on it, yes they were gas.
