Is possible to use this bike as a dual sport? Will it live with some street use?  Yes I know most KTMs are shit Bigsmile but I have hope for this one.

It is, by definition, a dual sport.

Yes.

But it's a dirtbike with factory lights and a dirtbike maintainence schedule. Not shit by any measure, just not the best bike for long road miles (I point this out only becuase a lot of people log plenty of road miles on their dualsports and I don't know what your intentions are). It will certainly kick ass offroad, especially compared to any more road oriented dualsport bike.

If your trail/road mix is anything more than 60/40 towards trail use, with trails meaning single track, this could be a terrific bike. It will survive road use but you'll be wanting to do oil, filters, valves, etc, frequently.

How you set it up matters a lot too. If you go with gearing and tires suitable for the riding what that bike is made for, highway will suck no matter what.

I dualsport my 450EXC but I try to avoid droning road miles and I change the oil every 15 hours or so. Road use for me consists of short bits of pavement to access dirt roads and trails in the immediate area.

I think people add large capacity oil coolers to the EXC models for more capacity/cooling/less frequent oil changes, especially if seeing more miles on the street than just connecting trails up.
