Both motels have outside corridors and are close to Main Street for food and fun.

Deadline to reserve from our blocks is the 30th of April.

The whole inn is reserved for us until April 30th, so they don't show anything available online.  You have to call and tell them you are with Sport-Touring.Net.

I've got a room at the Gunnison Inn for Tues, Weds, and Thurs with a checkout on Friday.

Although Tuesday and Wednesday are still reserved for our group, Monday is booked up and unavailable.  When I called, there were still rooms available for Thursday and Friday.

Booked my room at the Gunnison Inn today. Happened to talk to the owner ( Kip Murry) to make the reservations and he told me he needed 2 weeks for cancelations not 24 hours. It shouldn't be a big deal and would work with us since the Inn is booked for the season. Anyway can't wait till the ride in June. I'll be leaving the Cleveland area, anyone want to ride along? Also would be willing to share the room with a non snorer or at least a light one. I'm a 57 year old male, riding a Cherry Red ST1100.  See ya there !!

Hmmm... I'll give them a call, probably next week. They did tell me 24 hours when I set this all up. Most people won't cancel that last minute, but if they do, it'll be for a good reason, and I don't want to see people lose money.

My reservation is for Tuesday night the 16th and Wednesday night the 17.  I hope those are correct.

Is there A group that is going to be camping? I like to get a room about every three nights and camp the rest of the time. Does anyone know
of camps close to town? That big green patch of grass on the east side of town sure does look nice but the cops might not like me camping there.
Guess I could always set up at the lake west of town late and leave before the ranger shows up.

Just cancelled my room at the Gunnison Inn. We will still be at the National but don't need the room anymore. Hope someone picks it up or if at the Quality Inn you may want to change. See you all in about 5 weeks.

I stayed at the Western Motel (970) 641-1723 a few years back on a bike trip for $45. per night in May. It is right across the street and has free cont break. Could try that if you want to save a few bucks

Yep told them I was with STN & I was told they had 1 room.  When he told me $95 a night I ask about the $65 rate & I was told "the block had closed, that is prime dates & they will have no trouble booking the room at $95" I said no thanks & called across the street & saved $40.  The tone the guy at the gunnison inn just rubbed me the wrong way.  A simple I'm sorry those rooms needed to be booked by ___ would have been a better choice of words.

Honestly, rain in CO typically isn't an all-dayer. It rains for a bit and stops and usually in the afternoon-evening. I will still be camping.
