So, while doing my Christmas shopping at Costco I saw these little epic stealth cams for $100 bucks and I just couldn't resist...

Here is the link: http://tinyurl.com/epic-cam

I'm not very knowledgeable about current video tech and this is the first time I've played with mounting a cam to my bike and uploading clips, but this thing is pretty simple and will probably keep me entertained for my purposes...  Video quality is not HD and the sound is predictably mostly wind noise with a little engine noise in the background... The picture is fairly stable and easy enough to watch and it records on SD card and easily loaded to my laptop after the ride...

I mounted it up yesterday to test it out...  Here is a short video that I uploaded to cheer up my friends in the more frigid climates  Wink

Batteries were included and I just threw them in and started playing with the thing so it quit not to far into the ride, but it is supposed to record 200 min. on a 2GB card I will have to evaluate battery life with a fresh set...

Tempting looking toy.  Put enough of them on a bike and you have plenty of shots from one ride to make a good looking vid.
