I am planning to do a butt burner 1000 on a Kymco people 250s as a fund raiser for St Judes hospital. I would like to get donations per mile traveled. The web site for this will be up in the next month with the ride going off in June. this will all be traveled on 2 lane highways because of the scooter being used. Can i count on some of you for support of this little ride to hopefully help childern with life threating illnesses. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I would strongly suggest reading the reading the ride rules for Saddle Sore 1000 at http://www.ironbutt.com/ridecerts/getdocument.cfm?DocID=1 before embarking on the adventure.  Although it's entirely possible to do on a scooter...if you've not done a Saddle Sore before starting out on this mount could be extremely challenging.  Also, the Archive of Wisdom on LD riding at http://www.ironbutt.com/tech/aow.cfm.

Since you talk about donations on the basis of "per mile"....I'd be concerned you're not quite getting the minimum of a Saddle Sore.   If you're going to do a ride under the auspices of the Iron Butt Association that this thread area is related.....I would suggest you ask "per mile as long as it's over a thousand and you succeed in the ride".  Otherwise, it wouldn't be an Iron Butt ride.

If a true Saddle Sore, drop me a PM and I'd be willing to donate.

My appalogies, this is planned as a saddle sores 1000 ride, not a bun burner.
