I am going to leave home (Conyers) around 10:45am tomorrow and take 212 to 162 to 36, wiggle through Jackson and head down 23 for lunch at the Whistle Stop Cafe' for lunch.

Heading back via Round Oak/Juliette Rd. to Hwy. 11.

Any takers?

Not tomorrow, but I will be planning a ride there in the next few weeks.  I will post it on here when I pin down the date.  There will be a group from Savannah going up there.  Tomorrow we are heading south.  You are welcome to come down to McRae   Smile  It's only 146 miles

Thanks for the invite. Time constraints prevent it this time around. Crazy

I would have loved to meet up with you, but I had other commitments. Let me know next time, I live in Gray. Juliette is only 15 miles or so from my driveway.

If you're riding up from Savannah, do yourself a favor and make a detour through Irwinton GA, and get you some lunch at MaeBob's.

My route shows me going within one block of Maebob's restuarant.  I don't thnik I could eat two lunches in one day tho  Bigsmile  What is special about MaeBob's.

It's a small family owned cafe that has been in business over 75 years. Nice people, good food at a great price. My friend and I usually ride down on Saturday mornings for breakfast. I get 2 eggs, grits, bacon, toast, and a sweet tea for less than $6 bucks.
