That's nice, but can it be made into jerky?

Look at that burger in the first image again and tell me you don't think 1520 miles one way isn't worth it.   Lol

It's the crazy wing flavors that have me salivating!

Green dots are my addition:

Here's the view back on Hyner Overlook, care of Google Earth.

The dots on the right are the overlook.  You can see the goatpath heading up from there to the left-side valley.  Fun ride.   Burnout

What we're all missing is a pic of the twisty goat-path ride up.  That would be drool-worthy.   Thumbsup

Your wish is my command. From my trip to Americade last year (via the long way)

Anyone ever take the road to the right?

The start of it is very easy to miss:

And that's the straight section!  Couldn't find a place to park the bike to get good shots of the hairpin section.

I have taken the road to the right - it's just your average dirt road - you might actually be looking at the most interesting section.

F'n Garmin   Oh! That was a rhetorical question...

Last spring when I was there I did look at that road and thought.... is it really a short cut to where I want to go?

We could order the 100 lb. burger and split it between the 100+ ST.N'ers in attendance.

Garry -- what's our target arrival time?

Lunch is from 11:30 - 1:30 with most people arriving in the 11:30 - Noon window. Expect service to be slow because the kitchen can't keep up with 100 people ordering more or less at once. So you have a chance to mingle and BS.

Looks like I am going to have to hope for the rain date.  My brother is visiting the weekend of the 25th.

Many this looks like fun. I'm getting hungry...

I dunno...  Wife wants me to keep riding what I have: "But you just got the thing in September!"  Plus, she views scooters as being safer than motorcycles.  There is something to be said for not having to shift in traffic.

We'll see. I went out for an hour ride earlier today - there are just too many cinders on the road to really enjoy yourself just yet.  I can't tell if I'm taking corners slow because I'm chicken or because I'm afraid of wiping out.  I do feel the front tire dancing around and that isn't reassuring.

Oh, I know...  The Mana would be the perfect bike for what I envison...  Shift when you want to shift, let the computer do it when you're stuck in traffic, plus a "rain mode" for inclement weather.

It's just the $10,000 entry fee that keeps me from getting one.  Maybe get a bike now (or keep the scooter) and then get a Mana later on when you can find them used.
