I'll be there. I'm not sure what the schedule is just yet. Last year we rode around all day on Saturday and ended up in Clearfield to see everyone arrive. Last year it poured rain so I skipped the meal Sunday.

I am hoping for the rain date. My evil S.O. is making me go to some resort in Cancun Mexico which will have me in a bathing suit drinking margaritas on the 25th and 26th.
But if you poor bastards might get soaked and someone decides to opt for the rain date the following weekend, I will make the trip from Corning, NY.
Who does decide if this event is a rainout? Garry?

From what I've read rain is no problem. Only torrential rains. I love riding in the rain any way so it's all good on this end. I'll be looking to join that convoy so I'll be watching this thread closely as time starts to wind down

Pretty much. We never had a rain date in the past, but given last year's torrential rains on Sunday morning, I figured it might be nice to have options. The call will have to be made days (closer to a week) in advance, so it will only move if the forecast looks really grim.

Hey Garry... Do you think a free voicemail account with eVoice could be of any benefit? You could set up the "outgoing" message with any last minute updates.
http://www.evoice.com/evoice/twa/page/servicesOverview
The Free version doesn't have cell phone access to retrieve messages, but with the Plus version people could leave messages ("I'm running late", "I'm lost", etc.) and you could pick them up on your cell.
The Plus version has a one-month free trial but you wouldn't even need it that long.
Just a thought...

Lakeguy, I'm planning on making it!! Daughter is torn between this, and a birthday party. Me, I'm passing on the kids party. lol
My g/f might be coming from Port Matilda on her ZZR600.
Hopefully going to meet SLK50, and Frantik1, and taking the back roads up. Give me a shout, and we can try to iron out plans with the others.
I put the word out to State College Motorcycle Enthusiasts, and I think some of them are planning on riding out too.

Sounds like a great opportunity for me to get to meet a few of the locals here on the board. Not that I'll be looking foreword to chowing down on a couple dozen wings or anything
Look at the board when the time gets closer.... A bunch of us meet at the Rockaway Mall and drive up together.. It is also a great chance to share a room and save$$$

This is directed at Lakeguy but goes out to everyone thinking of coming to the burger run.
While the run centers around lunch at Denny's on Sunday, many make it a two day event.
Several of us will meet for breakfast Saturday morning, follow with a full day of riding on some of north central PA's finest roads, and end up at the Days Inn in Clearfield in time for dinner.
Several riders, for whom Clearfield is a bit much for a day ride, will ride in on Saturday and spend the night. This gives those riders a chance to hang out a bit on Saturday, get in a ride before lunch on Sunday, and still get on the road at a reasonable time for the ride home. In some respects the parking lot socializing is the highlight of the weekend.
Last year we met several riders while we were at Hyner View who then joined us for an enjoyable group ride. Hopefully we'll have a repeat this year.
Closer to the meet I'll post up a time and location for breakfast Saturday morning for anyone interested in joining our group. Or maybe we'll meet you on the road during the day.
And this year, I plan on staying over Saturday night, so I can "socialize" more!
To everyone planning on coming, I'm looking forward to seeing you there.
To anyone thinking of coming, don't miss it, you won't be sorry.

We moved to the State College area last year and I cannot wait for another riding season. Did not make it to the Meet and Eat last year but will probably go this year. Not sure which bike I am taking though
