i have a 1981 xj650 Yamaha with 10000 miles on it runs excellent the carbs were completly rebuilt last year, it has a single solo seat, drag bars, new 11.5 shocks in rear also have stock ones too.tires are in great shape an brakes too. new master cylinder on the front, new mufflers also asking for 1600 obo

This is the grandfather of all sport bikes - the Honda VFR Interceptor (scroll to bottom for pictures).
These bikes had a huge following when first introduced and are still revered by many (see http://www.vfrworld.com). Parts are easy to find and in 2011 the 1986 model year goes classic.
Professionally maintained by Honda, Suzuki of Warren. Returned from routine maintenance April 17 (2009), everything works and maintenance is current.
(all new fluids: oil/filter change, brake and clutch fluid drained/replaced, coolant drained/replaced, clearances set, tune up, NEW TIRES last summer, etc).
This bike is ready NOW.
Mileage is 39,000 +. This is my daily rider and I work 40 miles from where I live (Warren to Milford and back every day - highway miles).
Has been on its wheels its entire existence . . . with the lone exception of a tip over the first summer I had it (2007).
Lower left fairing has some plastic missing - roughly two silver dollar sized pieces, metal fairing spacer and a plastic spacer piece. Some plastic work on tail piece; it also has the usual smudges, cracks and dings found on a bike this age. Great starter bike for someone learning to ride or if you're looking for a fun way to save money on gas going to work!

It has a blue Gustafsson windscreen, flush mount turn signals and a Hindle Stealth full exhaust (pictures are from previous owner).
I have the blue stock seat, the seat cowl (tabs broken off), a no longer available Corbin Gunslinger and Lady custom seat, the service manual, stock front sprocket, spare fairing spacers, etc.
(all included with $2,300 asking price; Corbin seat has a 3/8" slice in it near the left rear and a 2 1/2" slice near the right rear).
